The papers converted and marketed by Forest Paper originate from responsible forest management. In addition, the sustainability actions practiced by the company are associated with the long-life cycle of its raw material: paper from sustainable and renewed source.

Forest Stewardship Council® or Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®)

The world’s most famous green seal aims to preserve the environment and the responsible development of the world’s forests. The FSC® certifies that the papers converted and marketed by Forest Paper contain certified raw material. This is because the entire conversion process meets the certification criteria.

Forest Paper is certified by SGS, a global reference in the provision of quality inspection, verification, testing and certification services.

Policy for the Association of Organizations with FSC®

Concerned with the highest standards of environmental preservation and sustainability, Forest Paper customizes papers of sustainable origin.

We are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) chain of custody, which certifies that the papers converted by Forest Paper contain certified raw material.

We declare that we are not directly or indirectly involved in the following activities, according to the Policy for the Association of Organizations with FSC®:

a) Illegal logging or trade of illegal timber or forest products;

b) Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations;

c) The destruction of high conservation values in forest operations;

d) The significant conversion of forests into plantations or for non-forest use;

e) The introduction of genetically modified organisms into forest operations;

f) Violation of any of the fundamental ILO conventions as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998.
